Nephrology Service At Shanti Memorial Hospital
Shanti memorial hospital offer a wide range of treatment options in the field of Nephrology.
This hospital gives a excellence offering collaborative care in treatment of chronic kidney diseases, fluid and electrolyte disorders, kidney stones and hypertension. Our super specialised specialists offer Blood pressure management programs which are protocol based treatment approaches. The CKD clinics include good dieticians and Nutritionists for kidney health and rehabilitation.
From 2008 we started dialysis service now Shanti hospital having ThirteenUltra Modern Haemodialysismachineswith thirteen well trained supporting staffs for all Critical CKD, AKD patients andregular maintenance dialysis patients. We are running three shifts of maintenance dialysis everyday and 24X7 Emergency dialysis. We also have started Plasmapheresis and hemo perfusion for Neurology and poisoning cases.
Prof. S.B.Rout, Prof.G.C.Das,Dr. Aruna Acharya & Dr. Sarat Parida are the visiting consultant Nephrologists to the hospital. We also started Nephrology OPD of Prof. S.B.Rout (every Mondays& Fridays). The hospital provides Nephrology service to ESI and all other insurance covered patients.
In future there is a plan to start Kidney transplant program in the hospital.
